For many people outside of Japan, the name Suzuki is synonymous with high-powered motorbikes and roaring engine noise. Such a cacophony could hardly be more at odds with the Suzuki Museum in Kanazawa, which was built in honour and to spread the teachings of Buddhist philosopher Daisetz Teitaro Suzuki. Ironically, considering its name, the beautifully presented space is one of the most serene places anywhere in the city.
